Jelly (who is wobbly when she runs and when she sees Roger Lovely) and her dorky best friends Ruby and Myf are going to senior school. They want to be cool - the trouble is, none of them is cool at all. Jelly's mum and stepdad are like chalk (a bit screechy) and cheese (a bit smelly). They're not helping the cool situation either, until Jelly's mum suggests a birthday party…

Inspired by the success of her crush, Sandy Blatch, Jelly decides that she needs to become a rock star. That way she'll get as many fans as Sandy's band, and Sandy will fall completely in love with her. Jelly's best friends, Myf and Roobs, are totally up for it. Meanwhile, Jelly's volunteered to help with the school's performance of Romeo and Juliet and has to watch while her Romeo, Sandy, stars alongside annoying Cicily Fanshaw.

Jelly's totally embarrassing mum is getting married (again), and Jelly is head bridesmaid. Luckily her best friends are around to help - although they're too busy coming up with mad schemes to get tickets to see their favourite band to be much use. How will Jelly be able to street dance up the aisle in front of everyone without having a complete wobble?
