Raven Storm

I've lived in the mud quarter my entire life, watching as the fireguards came every five years to select the prettiest girls to go to the Seat to start new lives. They get it all: husbands, houses without a speck of dirt, and enough food that hunger wasn't a constant pain in your belly.

I was happy. I had finally won—the past was behind me, my enemies dead, and my mate at my side as we jointly ruled our pack. Or so I thought....

I thought I'd die before returning to the Yosemite pack, yet here I am. It's just as brutal and terrifying as I remember. Nothing's changed. Well, except for one thing—me. I am done running. I will find a way to return to Derrick, and save as much of this pack as I can in the process....

I was lucky to escape my last pack with nothing but a few scars—a cheap price to pay for my freedom. It was supposed to be just another run to calm my wolf, but I wasn't going to ignore those cubs' screams for help—even if they were from a rival pack....

In order to defeat evil, I'm going to have to embrace the darkness and journey into the abandoned mines on the outskirts of the kingdom, meeting the demons themselves. And the princes? If they have truly chosen me, then we will see in time just how much weight a dragon's promise holds.
