Resumen del editor
Can your favorite hockey players finish their first season together undefeated?
Five months in, NHL forward Ryan Wesley is having a record-breaking rookie season. He's living his dream of playing pro hockey and coming home every night to the man he loves - Jamie Canning, his longtime best friend turned boyfriend. There's just one problem: the most important relationship of his life is one he needs to keep hidden, or else face a media storm that will eclipse his success on the ice.
Jamie loves Wes. He really, truly does. But hiding sucks. It's not the life Jamie envisioned for himself, and the strain of keeping their secret is taking its toll. It doesn't help that his new job isn't going as smoothly as he'd hoped, but he knows he can power through it as long as he has Wes. At least apartment 10B is their retreat, where they can always be themselves.
Or can they? When Wes's nosiest teammate moves in upstairs, the threads of their carefully woven lie begin to unravel. With the outside world determined to take its best shot at them, can Wes and Jamie develop major-league relationship skills on the fly?
Warning: contains sexual situations, a vibrating chair, long-distance sexytimes, and proof that hockey players look hot in any shade of green.

Moving out of the bubble of bliss. Hello real worl
As soon as I finished Him I had to get started on Us. I fell in love with Ryan Wesley and Jamie Canning and their story so I had to know immediately how their time in Toronto was going to go.
We pick up a few weeks after the end of Him, and Jamie and Wes are living together, however, they are not open about their relationship with their work colleagues/teammates. To make matters worse, one of Wes's teammates is also their neighbour so they also have to be careful how they act around each other at home. As a new couple, they want to spend as much time together (in secret), so neither makes the effort to hang out with teammates after practice or games. This isn't such a big deal for Wes, as he has the opportunity to bond with his teammates on away games but Jamie is having a harder time. He is left at home for long stretches of time, while Wes is playing away games. This leaves Jamie feeling isolated, alone and dependent on Wes...on many levels. Having chosen to coach instead of the draft for a professional team means that he is not as financially stable as Wes. He is a coach for a juniors team, which means he has to also be careful about his sexuality. He has narrow-minded and douchebag co-workers who make horrible comments and a bad work environment, which leaves Jamie doubting his coaching skills. Plus, Canadian winters are depressing for a California sunshine boy and his body is not used to the harsh cold winds and snow, so Jamie gets very sick, leaving him out of commission and in the hospital on sick leave for an extended period of time. This sick leave means that Wes drops everything to be by his side and, inevitably, their secret gets out. Wes is now the first openly gay professional hockey player in the NHL. Jamie's private life is thrust into the public eye and commented on by everyone.
Wes and Jamie have to see if their feelings and relationship can stand the public opinion and the challenges that come to all relationships of any professional sport.
I loved this story. I still love how Wes and Jamie fit together. It touched my heart that Wes was accepted and welcomed into the Canning clan without a second thought. Wes knows how hard it was to cut Jamie from his life once and they were only best friends then...now, he knows that he won't survive if he has to do it again. He is willing to risk everything to have Jamie by his side, despite being scared of any possible outcome.
Blake, Wes's teammate, is a great addition to the story. He is a giant man-child. It's almost like meeting the offspring of Michael Kelso (That 70's Show), Waldo Faldo (Family Matters) and Joey Tribiani (Friends). Oh, and I just know something happened between Blake and Jess, Jamie's sister. I hope there is a story behind that and we will get a glimpse.
The only reason I rated this a 4 star and not 5 like I did with the previous book, is because Jamie's personality was a real downer. I understand it was supposed to be a depressing version of himself because, obviously, he was depressed by the whole situation. But I loved how upbeat and go with the flow he was in Him and it was hard to see this other side of him.

Unforgettable
I thought the first book was good, but this one is even better. The mental health was portrayed masterfuly and it really broke my heart seeing my babies suffer. Truly recommended. And the narrators are my favorite in a romance! They really bring the characters to life
