Present day. Lily Johansson returns to Paris, the city that broke her heart and destroyed her ballet career, hoping to ease the guilt over her fiancé’s death and to make amends with her estranged sister, Natalie, also a dancer. Lily finds herself entangled with talented composer Yves Rousseau, who believes she is his muse. Meanwhile, Natalie develops an unhealthy obsession with the story of Viktoriya Budian. As Natalie’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic, Lily fears for her sister’s safety and sanity. When long-held secrets are uncovered, Lily and Yves must confront the past to have any chance at a future.
