Acerca de este título
Shred it! Dr. Jamal Bryant proclaims "The Creditors Are Coming" and "I'm Paid in Full" in a powerful and relevant two-part series.
We are living in a time of viral outbreak when the recession is eating us alive. Many people remain sick, because they continue to carry the virus. They know in order to be healed they can no longer afford to carry the strand of the disease. But most people's budget, bank account, income, and credit are sick. The problem is that they continue to carry the strand of the disease: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Last year, credit-card companies sent out 5.3 billion solicitations. The average adult receives 15 credit-card offers per month. The average household owes $9,000 dollars in credit-card debt. The average African American has accumulated 8.5 credit cards. The problem is that most people use credit cards not in a time of emergency, but in the place of convenience. Consequently, many wise people make stupid credit-card decisions. We've been raised and groomed for immediate gratification without any long term sacrifice. The penalty that is paid is a crippling high interest rate.
How you handle your finances in large measure is consistent to how you handle and regard your flesh. Jesus paid for your salvation in full - not on credit. So do not allow your credit card to cripple you. Discover why you should get out your shredder and shred through that credit magnetic strip. It's time to shred your way through to financial success and freedom.
