Acerca de este título
Now that I have discovered what death is, I am overwhelmed by how long I have left to live... It is not a manner of speaking, nor is it a metaphor. My name is Oliver and until eight days ago I did not know that word and the weight of its meaning. No one had ever uttered that word around me. Furthermore, as far as I knew, no one had ever died. But knowing the term does not cover its immensity. Not then, not now.
In Delos death does not exist. It is a model community in the north of the world, where there is no place for suffering, disease, or pain. The people of Delos are happy. And Oliver too, until his best friend leaves and he decides to go looking for him... without knowing that it will be a one way trip.
Spanish author and Booktuber, Javier Ruescas brings us a deep, emotional and captivating story about the value of life and the importance of being yourself. A modern tale that reminds us of the importance of taking advantage of every minute and how dangerous fear can be if we let it rule us.

A simple idea, a great concept
"En Delos no puedes morir /In Delos you cannot die" Audiobook Review**
🌟 Javier's story immerses listeners in a voyage of discovery that shatters perceptions, weaving a tale of utopia and reality.
🎙️ I first listened to it in English, then discovered that the Spanish version was narrated by Ruescas himself,so I listened to it again, and it's great. His personal touch adds depth, making the experience intimate and engaging. 🌟🎭 Not that the English performance is in any way wrong,, they did a very good job. But if you can understand Spanish, I'll highly recommend it.
📖 Set in Delos, a town sheltered from death, the story follows Oliver's quest, unraveling layers of truth amid a world devoid of pain and sorrow. 🕵️♂️🔍
🌈 Ruescas artfully delves into profound themes, exploring societal structures, the human pursuit of knowledge, sexuality, friendship and the dichotomy of happiness shielded from reality. 🤔📚
🌿 What makes this tale resonate is its ability to provoke introspection, urging listeners to appreciate life's moments amidst chaos and uncertainty. 🌟💭
👥 Oliver's journey, guided by hope and friendship, challenges our notions of existence and encourages us to value human connections and genuine experiences. 🤝💕
👉 This audiobook isn't merely a story; it's an invitation to ponder life's complexities, embrace reality, and treasure the beauty of every fleeting moment
